  • Extend Health sent newsletters in Oct. 2014 to post-65 retirees for 2015 enrollment in individual and prescription drug coverage. If you want to retain your current coverage, you don't need to enroll.  
  • Motorola Solutions will continue to fund post-65 retiree Health Reimbursement Accounts for 2015 at the same level it did in 2014.  The amount varies based on when former employees met the eligiblity requirements for retiree health care.

Changes to pre-65 medical benefits effective Mar. 1, 2015

If you participate in MSI's current pre-65 retiree health care plans, your current coverage will end on Feb. 28, 2015. Enrollment for coverage effective Mar. 1, 2015 will take place from Jan. 15 - Feb. 15, 2015.

If you've deferred coverage under our current pre-65 retiree health care plans, you'll have two opportunities to enroll in a medical plan through OneExchange:

  • During our initial enrollment period from Jan. 15 - Feb. 15, 2015 and;
  • During our 2016 enrollment period from Oct. 15 - Dec. 15, 2015

If you don't enroll during one of these period, you won't be eligible for our Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) contribution in the future.
